The Social Services Department's mission is to work with social services and provide support so that everyone in the municipality feels safe and has equal opportunities in life. The Workplace

We are looking for you who want to work as a nurse in Trelleborg Municipality. Our shared mission is divided into geographical areas covering special housing, LSS (Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments) activities, and ordinary housing. We have our office premises in central Trelleborg, where all nurses start their shifts. The proximity to colleagues contributes to good cohesion and a pleasant work environment. Job Responsibilities

As a nurse, you are responsible for providing high-quality care and support to patients within our organization. You work in a dynamic and supportive environment where the patient's well-being is at the center. This role requires a strong sense of responsibility and the ability to work both independently and in a team – always with the patient in focus.

As a nurse with us, you work within special housing, ordinary housing, or LSS. You make assessments, plan and follow up on care measures, and participate in daily nursing care around the patient.

You administer medication, document according to current guidelines, and collaborate with various professions to create safe and secure care. You also mentor nursing staff, with support from colleagues when needed.

The work is varied, educational, and exciting, giving you the chance to work both independently and in a team.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a registered nurse and hold a Category B driver's license, as the work involves moving between different operations. You have good ability to work both independently and in close collaboration with others, and you can plan, organize, and prioritize your work effectively. Furthermore, you have good communication skills and express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing.

It is meritorious if you have experience working in special housing, ordinary housing, LSS, or another part of the public sector.

We are looking for you who are responsible, flexible, and have a positive attitude. You are solution-focused and have a good approach in meetings with patients, relatives, and colleagues. Furthermore, you are engaged in your work and actively contribute to good cooperation and a well-functioning operation.
