At Forenede Care, we are looking for a nursing assistant or care aide who wants to work during the summer, either full-time or part-time, at our cozy dementia care community, Månstorps Ängar.

Forenede Care operates Månstorps Ängar on behalf of Vellinge Municipality. The care and nursing facility has a total of 56 beds, distributed across 4 units. The facility offers apartments for elderly people with cognitive impairment.

At Månstorps Ängar, we have large gardens for easy access to outdoor activities, as well as good space for communal activities and socializing. We also have a retro shop, a salon, a sensory room, and more.

As we are Star-Rated by the Swedish Dementia Centre and work with a person-centered, salutogenic approach, we believe we are at the forefront in our approach to those with cognitive impairments.

To support this work, we operate in teams consisting of nursing assistants (SSK), group leaders, paramedics, and specialist-trained nursing assistants in dementia care.

We place great emphasis on activities led by our "Live Life" inspirers. These are conducted in groups but also individually, all based on the residents' wishes.

Månstorps Ängar is strategically located with short distances to both the train station and bus stop. For those who drive, there is free parking right across the street.

In the role of nursing assistant, you will perform care and support tasks based on the client's wishes and in accordance with current decisions on personal assistance, with a strong focus on quality. This includes personal hygiene, assistance with meal preparation and serving, responding to alarms, and social interaction. Social interaction can include conversations, games, cycling, music activities, or similar. You will also perform delegated tasks from licensed staff, such as medication administration and training exercises.

As a summer temporary employee, you have good opportunities to secure new temporary positions or permanent employment.

Job Description

We are currently looking for several colleagues for temporary or fixed-term positions, full-time or part-time, with varying degrees of employment. The positions start in May/June or as agreed.

To be considered for the position, you need:

• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written

Previous experience in elderly care and dementia care is considered a merit.

To thrive in this role, you care about your fellow human beings, are good at building relationships, are highly engaged, and are service-oriented. We work both in teams and independently, so it is important that you are comfortable in this environment.
