Seeking Empathetic and Flexible Personal Assistants for a Vibrant Woman with Muscular Disease

I am a spiritual, cheerful, and energetic woman who is sometimes a bit "dreamy". I am currently looking for more assistants to join my newly formed group that we are building together.

About Me

I have a muscular disease that affects my muscles and nowhere else. I have many interests. I am spiritual, so I do divination, read astrology, and read people, animals, and places, as well as natural medicine. I am also interested in hair, makeup, beauty, and photography. Yes, you heard that right – "All things, all the time"! I am cheerful, energetic, and very positive. I have a good sense of humor but can also engage in serious conversations.

I have a cat who is social and active (a bit lazy sometimes, just like her mom, that is me). Therefore, you must be able to handle everything that comes with owning a cat: activation, play, cuddling, and perhaps even acting as a cat groomer.

The Role

I am looking for someone who is empathetic and perceptive. You should be able to read the room and know when to step forward or back in different situations, respecting my integrity. If you are unsure, you can always ask. Essentially, you are my arms, legs, and voice. This means interpreting what I say to others in various meetings, such as doctor's visits, hospital stays, government agencies, and with friends, without adding your own judgment.

The job is flexible. Some days we just sit in front of YouTube or series and chat, other days are super active, and some days are a mix. No one works full-time on a fixed schedule with me, precisely so we can cover absences and adapt to different paces.

I value highly: respect, team spirit, energy but also calmness, empathy, and humor. We are not always "clean" in our humor and are very open. We are not overly professional in a stiff sense; we are ourselves. Of course, professionalism is required at times, but since we essentially live on each other, we are authentic. What I primarily want to see is that we are all a team, through thick and thin. This means stepping up for gaps and handling different situations together. Therefore, you need good physical fitness (or the will to improve it) and strong mental resilience, as it may occasionally be required to stay on duty and perform tasks that require strength.

Positions and Schedule

We offer fixed and rolling 4-week schedules:

• Day & Evening: 107 hours/4 weeks (3 positions).
• Awake/Active Night: 73 hours/4 weeks (1 position). Possibility of increase during frequent absences (every month, Monday & Tuesday).
• Double Staffing: 16:00–21:00 with 2 nights every other week (one week Friday, next week Sunday). 68 hours/4 weeks (2 positions). You will be the first person we ask for coverage during absences.

The more you cover during absences, the higher your income, as we pay an hourly wage.

Requirements

• Female, 25–40 years old.
• Fluent Swedish in speech and writing (as you interpret for the client).
• Strong work ethic and compassion.
• Ability to be professional in certain situations and set aside personal judgments.
• Perceptive and open-minded.
• Work comes first, phone second during work hours.
• Flexible and able to step in when needed.
• Not afraid of cats and no cat allergies.
• Understand and follow confidentiality and other routines.
• If you have pets: Ability to arrange pet care if needed during work hours.
• Interest/knowledge in makeup and hair is a plus. Interest or openness to spirituality is also important.
