ABOUT THE JOB

We are now looking for female personal assistants for an 8-year-old girl living just outside Karlstad. She has extensive care needs and receives support from assistants around the clock.

The girl loves everything that sparkles, and makeup and hair styling are close to her heart. She also enjoys going on small outings and finding fun activities outside the home. The girl's verbal communication is very limited, which means it is important that you get to know her well in order to interpret and understand her needs and expressions. She uses a power wheelchair (Permobil) for mobility.

As an assistant, you are a support in all aspects of her daily life, from care and medical procedures to play, activities, and creating a safe, stimulating environment. Experience with tracheostomy and PEG is meritorious but not a requirement. The most important thing is that you get along well and that you can meet her with warmth and security.

The workplace is located outside Karlstad with limited public transport connections, which means that a driver's license and access to a car are required.

• Non-smoker
• Have a driver's license and access to a car
• Secure, responsible, and have a mature approach
• Have a genuine interest in working with children with extensive care needs
• Comfortable working days, evenings, and awake nights

HOURS AND DEGREE OF EMPLOYMENT

The work shifts are scheduled as follows:

• Weekdays: 07–15, 15–22, 22–07 (awake night)
• Weekends: 07–19, 19–07 (awake night)

We are looking for several assistants with different degrees of employment, ranging from extra help as needed to permanent shifts of approximately 50-80%.

SALARY

At Vivida, you as an assistant receive a fixed base hourly wage + holiday pay and any unsocial hours (OB) compensation. Collective agreements apply.
