We are now looking for a dental nurse for our clinic in Kristianstad C. You will work in a 3+3 shift pattern and be part of our weekend on-call service, meaning you work three days and then have three days off. The working week averages 34 hours with a salary equivalent to full-time work. In this role, you will also receive a market wage supplement of 2,500 SEK per month. As part of an emergency dental care team, you will gain specialized expertise in emergency dentistry. This role involves working more with adult patients and making a difference for residents across Skåne.

We currently have approximately 80 employees in various professional categories, divided between general dentistry and specialist dentistry. As a dental nurse here, you will work primarily close to general dentistry. At the clinic, we offer our patients, who include both children and adults, a broad spectrum of treatments within periodontology, prosthodontics, pediatric dentistry, and orthodontics. We are located in modern premises near Kristianstad Central Station.

Job Responsibilities

As a dental nurse at Folktandvården Skåne, you play a vital role in our work providing health-promoting and preventive dental care for all ages. You assist one of our skilled dentists through examination and X-ray assistance, delegated patient treatment, and administrative tasks such as cost estimates and referral handling. Some work in the reception area may also occur.

Qualifications

You have a dental nurse degree and Swedish language skills equivalent to Swedish upper secondary school or Swedish C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale. Furthermore, you have basic computer skills and preferably experience working with systems used in dentistry. We offer training in the medical record system Alfa eCare Clinics.
