The Anderslöv Health Centre is located in newly built premises featuring a modern rehabilitation unit, a large gymnasium, and fresh treatment rooms. You will become one of three physiotherapists here. We have stable staffing with high competence, engaged employees, and a strong sense of community.

We are a team of over 30 employees with various professions: physiotherapists, nurses, district nurses, assistant nurses, doctors, psychologists, and medical secretaries. We also have a family centre with Child Health Services (BVC).

Job Description

As a physiotherapist, you will be the first point of contact for assessments and treatments of patients with main complaints related to the musculoskeletal system. You will also work with other diagnoses such as neurological conditions, chronic pain, and psychosomatic issues. Treatments are provided both individually and in groups. You will see patients of all ages, which offers great stimulation.

Together with the patient, and if necessary, your physiotherapy colleagues and other healthcare professionals, you will develop a treatment plan.

The duties include implementing disease-preventive interventions, performing acute treatment for pain and/or injury, and working on measures to improve or maintain function. The goal is to provide the patient with the prerequisites to become independent in managing their health issues, based on their specific problems and assessed functional capacity.

You will also collaborate with other professional groups in the team to contribute to diagnosis and the creation of a plan for continued treatment, based on the patient's symptoms and individual needs. On our unit, we strive for high accessibility and stepped care, which allows us to see patients seeking help at an early stage with close collaboration with other professional groups.

We work with team-based care. The health centre is divided into 3 teams that meet twice a week to discuss complex cases regarding our patients. These team meetings add value not only for patients but also for all staff members. Team collaboration brings joy in work, knowledge sharing, and an opportunity to share the burden that complex care cases can bring.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed physiotherapist/sports therapist with the right to practice in Swedish healthcare. Proficiency in Swedish at level C1 or higher according to the Council of Europe's scale is a requirement. We would appreciate it if you had experience working in primary care. Furthermore, it is meritorious if you have experience or education in McKenzie A and B, orthopedics (OMI/OMT/MDT), and acupuncture.
