About the role

The position is based at the E-commerce and Supplier Invoice unit, whose main task is the receipt handling of supplier invoices and e-commerce administration throughout the Region of Västra Götaland (VGR). The unit has employees in three locations and belongs to Economic Services, which also consists of units within support and development, accounting, customer and patient invoicing, healthcare provider service, and medical travel. At the office in Vänersborg, we are together approximately one hundred employees, and about as many at the office in Mariestad.
About the work
We are looking for you who are motivated by our overarching mission – to free up resources for care and social services through efficient and high-quality service functions. We work process-oriented and strive for continuous improvements through structured working methods. As a process leader, you will have the opportunity to develop both the operations and yourself. You are part of our internal network for process leaders within Economic Services, where there are good opportunities for experience sharing and collegial learning.
We are looking for a process leader with the assignment to develop, monitor, and improve our processes and working methods. Processes included are, among others, receipt handling of supplier and customer invoices, reminder and collection flows, as well as the e-commerce process from signed agreement to orderable products.
You will also participate in projects and processes regarding the Region of Västra Götaland's economic system and e-commerce platform. Economic Services works process-oriented, and each process leader is responsible for their own processes. We work structurally with improvements, and the role also includes supporting coordinators to develop working methods and tools. The assignment offers great opportunities to influence and shape both processes and working methods while you develop your own competence in digitalization, automation, and process-oriented working methods.
The job involves travel within the region.
About you
To succeed in the role of process leader, you need:
- Experience of working with processes and process development
- Experience of independently and successfully driving improvement work
- Ability to inspire and develop good collaborations
- Be structured, pedagogical, and good at documenting
- Knowledge of RPA (Robotic Process Automation)
- University education in economics
- Experience of economic processes and work with digitalization
You are accustomed to driving the work forward independently and have good knowledge of Office programs. We assume that you communicate well in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
Meritorious are also knowledge within:
- VGR's purchasing, accounting, and invoicing processes
- RPA development
- Process tools such as Visio or 2c8
