Are you a communicative person with previous experience of being the central hub in civil engineering and infrastructure projects? Entrecon Consulting has received several requests from our clients for senior and experienced Project Engineers/Contract Engineers in civil engineering.

We receive applications on a rolling basis and match them with requests from our clients and customers. You will be employed by Entrecon Consulting and work on assignments at the client's site.

The Assignment

In the role of Project Engineer/Contract Engineer, you are a key person in the projects and contribute to ensuring smooth production alongside the Project Manager and Site Manager, as well as support functions. You will have a broad scope of work and be responsible for, among other things, production planning, project economics, and contract administration. You will also participate in purchasing, attend construction meetings, liaise with client representatives, and handle financial adjustments with the client and subcontractors. You will negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers, manage procurement processes, prepare cost estimates, and be responsible for contractual documentation. In some cases, HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) tasks are also included.

Competencies

We are looking for you who have at least three years of documented experience in a similar role with experience in:

• Forecasting and estimating
• Project economics and scheduling
• Resource allocation, purchasing, and ETA (Estimated Time of Arrival/Completion) management
• HSE work
• You have a post-secondary education in construction or have acquired this knowledge through work experience.
• Experience from infrastructure projects (roads and/or railways) is meritorious.
