Social Secretary for Reception with a Focus on Children and Youth

We are looking for someone who wants to be part of our work within the authority department's child and youth services. During the initial year, you will replace one of our employees who is on parental leave at the reception with a focus on children and youth. As a social secretary here, you work with authority enforcement within social services, primarily by receiving reports of concern and conducting protective and preliminary assessments regarding children and young people. In the team, seven social secretaries work together, including one senior member and one group leader who leads and distributes the workload. We support each other as colleagues through feedback, and we value close supervision from the group leader and unit manager, who practice a developmental and supportive leadership style.

Requirements

We require that you are a qualified social worker (socionom) and have experience with authority enforcement. Experience in both reception and investigative work is considered an advantage.

The reception consists of a joint reception, divided into a focus on children and youth and a focus on adults, a social housing team, and a team dealing with violence in close relationships. The unit has three group leaders who offer close and coaching supervision, as well as a unit manager responsible for operations, personnel, and budget. The unit consists of a total of 24 employees.

The position is a permanent full-time employment with a start date to be agreed upon.
