In the autumn, additional rooms will be ready for, among others, the eating disorders team.

The Child and Adolescent Medicine department includes the hospital's units with 24/7 emergency reception for medical patients aged 0–18, inpatient care for children and adolescents, the neonatal unit, day care, and scheduled clinics in Ängelholm, Landskrona, and Helsingborg. We have a total of approximately 300 employees.

The eating disorders team is a multidisciplinary team linked to our day care service, targeting young children with various forms of feeding difficulties who require team interventions. The team works collaboratively around each child and family to provide families with the opportunity for assessment and treatment within the same clinic.

RESPONSIBILITIES

In your role as a nurse with us, you will work with the entire family in a multidisciplinary team where you serve as the connecting link. The team consists of nurses, doctors, dietitians, psychologists, social workers, and speech therapists. The goal of the activity is to tailor treatment for the child and the family through multidisciplinary teamwork, increase continuity, and support families facing complex and challenging situations.

Since the assignment within the team constitutes 80% of working hours, the remaining time is allocated to the day care unit. In addition to direct patient work, we expect all staff to be active and involved in change initiatives, as well as to develop and improve care across the entire department.

QUALIFICATIONS

The position requires you to be a licensed nurse authorized to work in Swedish healthcare, with experience working in pediatric care/child health services. Proficiency in Swedish corresponding to at least level C1 on the Council of Europe scale is also a requirement.

You, as a candidate, have a strong interest in working with children and their families and are sensitive to their needs. Additionally, you wish to contribute to the development of the activity. In your work, you are flexible, thrive in collaboration, and promote a good work climate. Personal suitability will be given great weight.
