Description

Rotskärsskolan is a secondary school (grades 7–9) with approximately 180 students. As a Special Educational Needs Teacher (SEN Teacher), we want you to help create the best conditions for students' learning and development in mathematics. The position involves working with students individually, in small groups, and in the classroom.

Responsibilities

• Identify, analyze, and follow up on students' needs for support in mathematics
• Plan and implement special educational interventions
• Guide and support teachers in their work with extra adaptations and special support
• Contribute to the school's development work regarding mathematics teaching and accessible learning environments

Personal Qualities

• Are a certified teacher with a degree in Special Educational Needs Teaching, with a focus on mathematics
• Have experience working with students in need of special support
• Have a good ability to create security, motivation, and positive relationships
• Are structured, solution-focused, and flexible
• Find it easy to collaborate with colleagues, student health services, and guardians
• Have an inclusive and professional approach

Valid ID and Right to Work in Sweden

To work at Älvkarleby Municipality, you must be able to present a valid ID showing your citizenship. In some cases, you may also need to show a document proving your right to work in Sweden. If offered employment, you must be able to present one of the following:
