We are now looking for an Occupational Therapist who will have the opportunity to work at both Förslöv Health Centre and Sjöcrona Health Centre. You are warmly welcome to join us! About the workplaces

Förslöv Health Centre is located on the scenic Bjärehalvön peninsula in northwestern Scania. The health centre has grown in recent years and now has approximately 6,280 registered patients and 24 dedicated staff members working in teams consisting of doctors, nurses, assistant nurses, counselors, physiotherapists, dietitians, and medical secretaries.

Sjöcrona Health Centre is located near the sea and nature on the Kulahalvön peninsula in picturesque Höganäs, in northwestern Scania. The health centre is centrally located with good bus connections and parking facilities. Sjöcrona Health Centre has approximately 9,300 registered patients. Our team consists of 35 staff members within the professions mentioned above.

In this position, you will work closely with your occupational therapy colleagues at Delfinen Health Centre in Höganäs and Laxen Health Centre in Ängelholm.

Job Description

As an Occupational Therapist, you will have varied tasks including clinic visits, home visits, and group treatments where you meet patients of all ages. You will become an important part of our cross-professional team and work closely with various professional categories to jointly create secure and accessible care for our patients.

As an Occupational Therapist, you are the first point of contact for diagnosing and treating injuries to the hand, forearm, and elbow. The duties also include participating in cognitive assessments and prescribing and fitting assistive devices. At Förslöv Health Centre, the role of Rehabilitation Coordinator will also be included in the position.

Qualifications

As a person, you are responsible, flexible, and confident in your professional role. You have a good manner of dealing with people and always work with the patient's needs in focus. Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.

Regarding the formal requirements for the position, we welcome you who are a licensed Occupational Therapist with eligibility to work within Swedish healthcare. Proficiency in Swedish at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe scale is also a requirement. We would like you to have worked for a few years in the profession and have experience within primary care as well as the PMO system.
