Build long-term customer relationships for Jungheinrich in Östersund and develop sales in Northern Sweden.

Are you an independent sales professional who thrives with technical products, customer visits, and responsibility for your own district? Jungheinrich is looking for a Senior Account Manager based in Östersund and surrounding areas, where you will develop business across all of Northern Sweden. You will work with the sale of forklifts, leasing, short-term rentals, and solutions for customers in industry, warehousing, and logistics. The role combines new business development with the growth of existing accounts and suits you if you are confident in initiating contact, building trust, and driving deals to closure. Here you will have a strong brand behind you, high technical expertise around you, and a customer-centric daily routine. We warmly welcome your application today!

Your Employment Offer

As a Senior Account Manager at Jungheinrich, you will receive an independent sales assignment with significant autonomy and clear opportunities to build business in a large district. You will work with high-quality products and solutions, meeting customers with concrete needs within material handling and logistics. The onboarding process is thorough and includes product training, ride-alongs with senior sales colleagues, and support from technicians and the sales manager. This ensures you have the right prerequisites to gradually become confident in a broad and technically advanced product portfolio. The role is perfect for you if you want freedom, responsibility, and a customer-focused daily life.

Your Responsibilities

You drive sales in Northern Sweden by creating new business opportunities, developing customer relationships, and following up on needs over time.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Prospecting and acquiring new customers and markets in the district
  • Developing existing customers through ongoing dialogue and follow-up
  • Selling new forklifts, used forklifts, leasing solutions, and short-term rentals
  • Scheduling and conducting customer meetings, both planned and spontaneous
  • Managing the sales process from prospecting to closed business
  • Preparing quotations and following up on customer dialogues
  • Documenting activities, pipeline, and customer history in the CRM system
  • Identifying replacement needs and opportunities linked to leasing cycles
  • Conducting product demonstrations and collaborating internally on larger deals

Important Details

The role is advertised with the Östersund area as the primary geographical base, but it is also possible to base yourself in Sundsvall or Umeå and surrounding areas. You will work from a home office and receive a company car as well as digital tools for the role. The district stretches from Borlänge and northwards, implying a traveling lifestyle with regular overnight stays, usually at least once a week and sometimes more depending on planning and customer structure. You report to the Sales Director Sweden and collaborate closely with sales colleagues, technicians, the service organization, and the headquarters in Malmö. The position is full-time and starts as agreed.

Our Expectations

To succeed in this role, you need experience in proactive B2B sales and are accustomed to working independently with personal responsibility for customers, activities, and business follow-up. Experience from technical products, machinery, vehicles, industrial solutions, warehousing, or logistics is particularly relevant. You need technical understanding, be comfortable diving into technical data, and be able to adapt your dialogue to the customer's environment, usage, and needs. As a person, you are business-driven, resilient, and structured, with the energy to build a large district over time. A valid Category B driver's license, CRM experience, computer literacy, and basic Excel skills are required. A forklift license is an advantage but not a requirement.
