We are looking to hire more of Sweden's best social secretaries. At Children and Youth, you will find meaningful and challenging work. We perform tasks that make a difference for our children and young people – with us, it is for real.
The reception unit is an exciting and developmental workplace where no day is like the other. The unit consists of three team leaders and 15 social secretaries. The social secretaries are divided into three teams with five social secretaries in each team. Every third week, the team has an on-call week where reports/applications are received and safety assessments are conducted in these cases. This is followed by two assessment weeks where the social secretaries have meetings and write preliminary assessments. All work is carried out with close support from the team leaders.

As a newly hired employee, you are offered a thorough introduction to the operations where you get an overview of the area and the tasks. As an employee, you will also participate in external group supervision. Furthermore, every year you will be covered by a strategic education plan including basic further education and advanced training based on the operations' goals and resources as well as the employees' individual needs.
Your responsibilities

We have clear and legally secure processes as well as well-established routines that support systematic work. Your main responsibilities as a social secretary at the reception unit are to handle incoming reports and applications, conduct safety assessments in cases, and provide advice and support. At the reception unit, you conduct preliminary assessments and make decisions according to the Social Services Act, LBSB, and LVU. Here you belong to a work group with high job satisfaction and camaraderie.
Who are you?
On the reception group, you represent the Social Services Children and Youth towards clients, citizens, and collaborating partners. Therefore, you possess broad knowledge of the social services' authority exercise and interventions and can make independent assessments in cases. You are flexible and can work at a high pace.
Requirements:
- Social Work Degree (Social Worker)
- Good computer skills
- Very good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing
- Driver's license
Merits:
- Experience with authority exercise within Children and Youth
- Training in Signs of Safety
- Training in Motivational Interviewing (MI)
- Experience working in the Combine operation system
