Job Description

We are now looking for a Business Developer for Nordost 1 and 3, an area that includes group and service housing, day activities, and housing support according to LSS (Act for Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). The position is part of a team consisting of another business developer, three method developers, and three support pedagogues with special mobile assignments. The role focuses on social psychiatry and co-morbidity, where understanding the interaction between authority enforcement and implementation is a key prerequisite.

As a Business Developer, you will serve as a support function to the operations manager and unit managers within the city district. You will work with the city's quality management system, which includes handling deviations and feedback, self-inspections at the operational level, as well as systematic follow-up and analysis. You will support the operations in translating political goals into operation-specific goals and work with the follow-up of the city district's operational plan. Additionally, you will collaborate with business developers in other city districts and at the department level.

You will ensure that operations comply with current guidelines and legal requirements and contribute to the development of quality indicators and follow-up methods. You will support unit managers in their work on business development, including analysis, planning, and implementation of improvements. Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to promote common development goals is also an important part of the role. Furthermore, you will drive digitalization initiatives to streamline the operations' working methods and processes. Finally, you are responsible for regularly evaluating and reporting the results and successes of the development work to the operations manager.

The role involves both strategic and operational issues and assignments. You work closely with operations where different perspectives need to be balanced, and where quality is created through analysis, collaboration, and systematic improvement work. Together with knowledgeable colleagues and engaged managers, you contribute to creating good conditions for some of the welfare sector's most complex and significant assignments.

Qualifications

To be qualified for the position of Business Developer, you are required to have a three-year university or college degree in public administration, behavioral science, or another equivalent education that the employer deems relevant for the assignment.

You should have good knowledge of legislation within public administration, as well as the Act for Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments (LSS) and the Social Services Act (SoL). It is an advantage if you have experience working within the Act on Choice Systems (LOV) and public administration.

We are looking for you who have very good computer skills and previous experience as a Business Developer, preferably within the public sector. You should have experience working with process-based approaches and quality management, as well as experience driving change projects and implementing improvement measures.

You can effectively identify and analyze the core of a problem and propose possible solutions. You have the ability to see connections and draw logical conclusions based on limited and/or complex information. You can convey information and ideas, both orally and in writing, and you adapt your communication to the recipient, target group, and situation.

You have the ability to work together with others to perform tasks and achieve goals. You understand the common mission, act accordingly, and contribute to the whole. You set clear goals and plan activities and projects in good time. You use your time efficiently and work systematically, organized, and methodically. You ensure that the work is completed and follow up on the results.
