The Skärholmen District Administration is one of Stockholm City's 11 district administrations and covers the districts of Bredäng, Sätra, Skärholmen, and Vårberg. Welcome to us

Within Preventive Child and Youth Services at the Skärholmen District Administration, we are now expanding with two additional positions as coordinators within SSPF (Social Services, School, Police, and Leisure). The purpose is to work even closer to schools, leisure activities, and the police to enable early and coordinated interventions for our youth.

The work is part of the development of TSI (Early Coordinated Support), where we strengthen our ability to offer cohesive, accessible, and preventive approaches that give young people the right support at the right time.

As an SSPF coordinator, you work from a crime-preventive perspective, and we offer SSPF at the individual level to individual children and young people who are at risk of developing norm-breaking behavior. The work is complemented by an SSPF coordinator, and you will receive support from both a group leader and a unit manager in the SSPF work. You work within the district's combined crime-preventive activities, where social secretaries from the police, SIG, and Aftercare are also organized.

The unit, which also consists of parent counseling, school social workers, youth clinics, and field staff, is part of the Preventive and Promoting area. The Leisure area is also included within this domain.

The operations are in the midst of exciting development work where we are working intensively to design approaches to meet the new Social Services Act and the district's needs. As an employee with us, you will become an important part of this work.

Your role

The assignment is to provide practical support to young people within SSPF. You work close to the young people's daily lives and meet them where they are, building trust through regular conversations and following up on interventions raised by schools, social services, police, and leisure activities.

The role involves working closely with young people and their families, participating in SSPF meetings, and ensuring that joint commitments are followed. You collaborate closely with the reception unit for children and young people, school staff, field assistants, identify early risks, and strengthen protective factors. The work is documented systematically according to consent and collaboration routines.

Tasks:

  • Meet young people individually for conversations
  • Hold council meetings
  • Obtain consent
  • Lead collaboration meetings
  • Close collaboration with schools, field staff, leisure, and police
  • Disseminate information about SSPF in the municipality

Since the position is in a developmental phase, you will have the opportunity to help shape and influence the content moving forward.

Your skills and experience

For the role, a social work degree or equivalent education is required. We also require experience in authority-based work with children and young people.

If you also have experience working with SSPF, this is meritorious, as is experience in crime prevention work.

We are looking for you who find it easy to build relationships where you create trust among young people and guardians. You have the ability to motivate, guide, and create structure. As a person, you are stable, sensitive, and secure in challenging encounters, with a patient and enduring commitment to strengthening young people's future opportunities. Flexibility and teamwork skills are fundamental given that the role is new and will be built up during the year.
