We are looking for new team members

We are undergoing a development of our day activity center and are now seeking employees for a new team that will work closely with the existing operations. The team will consist of two employees and will be characterized by close collaboration, great engagement, and a focus on creating content-rich and meaningful days for our participants.

The position is a permanent employment at 75 percent with daytime hours Monday–Friday. The full-time equivalent is 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

As a Specialist Nurse Assistant (Specialistundersköterska) in our day activity center, Klubben, you work to create a safe, meaningful, and stimulating daily life for people with cognitive impairment who continue to live in their own homes.

You will be part of a small team where you together plan, implement, and develop the center's activities based on the participants' individual needs, abilities, and interests. The work is characterized by a person-centered approach where you contribute to strengthening the participants' participation, well-being, and social community.

Responsibilities include, among other things:

• Plan and carry out individual and group-based activities.
• Support participants in social interaction and meaningful engagement.
• Create a safe and welcoming environment with a focus on attitude and relationship-building.
• Participate in meal situations and contribute to a pleasant community during the day.
• Collaborate with relatives, colleagues, and other professions to provide good support to participants.
• Contribute to the continued development of the center through new ideas and creative working methods.
• Document and work based on current legislation, guidelines, and individual implementation plans.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are educated as a Nurse Assistant (Undersköterska) and have further education in the dementia field, for example, as a Specialist Nurse Assistant with a focus on dementia or a Sylvia Sister (a specialized role in dementia care).

For the position, you must have:

• Nurse Assistant education.
• Further education in dementia or cognitive impairment.
• Experience working in elder care, preferably with people who have cognitive impairment.
• Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish.
• Good computer skills and experience with documentation.

It is an advantage if you have experience with day activities, activity planning, or other operations focused on social interaction and person-centered care.

Personal qualities

• We are looking for you who are secure, responsible, and have a genuine interest in working with people living with cognitive impairment.
• You are creative and proactive and have the ability to create activities that stimulate, engage, and contribute to well-being.
• You have a good attitude, are sensitive to the individual's needs, and find it easy to build relationships.
