About the Position
The Staffing Unit is looking for you who want to work as a casual treatment assistant within our various operations. As part of our team, you will provide security and continuity during the absence of permanent staff. The work is varied and provides broad experience in social work within the municipality's operational areas.
As a casual employee, you plan your own availability, but we would like you to have the opportunity to work 2–3 shifts per week.
The operations have staffing seven days a week, which gives you, as a casual employee, the opportunity to work days, evenings, nights, and weekends.
Our operations have needs during opening hours, so interested candidates should be able to work both day and evening shifts. Night and on-call shifts may also be relevant for some operations. As a casual employee, you are expected to continuously update your availability.
About the Operations
Our operations are directed towards individuals with social and/or psychological issues. This can include active substance abuse and mental disabilities, with or without co-morbidity. In several operations, there is no requirement for drug-free status, which places demands on professional handling, stability, and a secure approach.
Responsibilities
- Support and motivate residents in their daily lives.
- Work based on individual implementation plans.
- Be responsible for documentation, planning, and follow-up of interventions.
- Handle acute situations and make appropriate assessments.
- Collaborate with colleagues and other professions to create a safe and structured environment.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who have:
- An ongoing or completed university education as a social worker, social pedagogue, or another behavioral science education deemed equivalent.
- Good ability to collaborate and work independently.
- Confidence in meeting people in crisis and handling challenging situations in a calm and respectful manner.
- A non-confrontational and professional approach.
Experience working in social support, addiction care, or psychiatry is advantageous. Knowledge and experience with the methods MI (Motivational Interviewing), LAB (Low-Affect Handling), and RP (Relapse Prevention) are also advantageous.
Other
- A Category B driver's license is required as driving may occur in the role.
- An extract from the criminal record and suspicion register is required before employment.
Do you want to work in an operation where you make a real difference – and where no day is like another?
