Job Responsibilities

As a care assistant at our specialized housing, you work with a professional and person-centered approach. You meet every individual with respect, warmth, and attentiveness, adapting your working methods based on individual needs and conditions.

The assignment requires that you are pedagogical, have a low-affective approach, have good collaboration skills, and easily create trusting relationships. You enjoy taking responsibility, working independently, and at the same time being part of an engaged team. You are flexible, stress-resistant, and have a genuine interest in developing both yourself and the operations.

We are in the middle of working with permanent care contacts, where you will have a central role as the most important link regarding the resident's needs, wishes, well-being, and contact with relatives.

As a care assistant, duties include among other things:

• Perform personal care and support in daily life
• Help with meals, hygiene, transfers, and shopping
• Document and create implementation plans
• Work based on individual implementation plans
• Participate in and perform health and medical tasks according to delegation
• Contribute to a secure, meaningful, and stimulating daily life for the residents
• Collaborate with other professions such as nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and Sylvia nurses
• Maintain contact with relatives when necessary
• You always work with a focus on high quality in care and approach, and actively contribute to a good working climate at the workplace

Qualifications

We are looking for you who:

• Are a trained care assistant with a protected professional title
• Have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written
• Are comfortable using computers and mobile phones in your work

It is meritorious if you have:

• Category B driver's license
• Experience working in specialized housing or home care services
• Experience in dementia care, working with BPSD
• Further education in cognitive diseases, psychiatry, or specialist care assistant

As a person, you have a warm heart, great engagement, and a strong desire to make a difference. You are service-oriented, responsible, and enjoy working with people in need of support and care. We place great emphasis on your personal qualities. To be able to fulfill the assignment, it is assumed that you can receive and work based on the delegations required for the position, in accordance with current legislation and the operations' routines.

In connection with employment, you are required to provide a certificate of your protected professional title, as well as an extract from the criminal record and suspicion register.
