Job Responsibilities

There is now an opportunity to join the LSS Authority Unit in Upplands-Bro! As a Support Coordinator (Biståndshandläggare) specializing in LSS (Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments), you will investigate and assess needs for interventions according to LSS legislation, make decisions, and follow up on interventions for the target group regardless of age. You will handle cases for both children and adults. You will work to ensure legal certainty and participation according to IBIC (Individual Needs at the Center), involving close collaboration within the municipality and with external partners.

We are looking for someone who has:

• A degree in Social Work (Social Work) or another education we consider equivalent.
• Experience and knowledge from working with authority exercises within LSS and with Individual Needs at the Center (IBIC).

You have the ability to prioritize and work structured, with a talent and strong interest in social work. You work independently, take initiative, but also enjoy collaborating with others. We see you as a confident person with good communication skills, both verbal and written, and an interest in participating in the new unit's joint development work, where there will be great opportunities to influence and develop LSS work. Personal suitability is given great importance.
