We are expanding our team and are now looking for a secure, empathetic, and responsible personal assistant for a 12-year-old boy who lives with his family and receives assistance both at home and at school.

The boy has extensive disabilities and epilepsy, which means he needs a lot of support and supervision in his daily life. He communicates primarily through body language and presence, so it is important that you, as an assistant, are attentive, patient, and willing to get to know him to understand his signals and needs. Secure touch and physical closeness are an important part of his daily life.

• Care, hygiene, and dressing/undressing
• Presence and stimulation
• Mealtimes (tube feeding may occur)
• Supervision and support in connection with epilepsy

• Are calm, kind, responsible, and orderly
• Can work independently but also collaborate with the family and staff
• Dare to ask questions and are confident in asking for support when unsure

• Experience working with children
• Experience with disabilities, epilepsy, or tube feeding
• Training in CPR and/or FFT

• Working hours: day, evening, and night
• Non-smoker
• Driver's license is not required

Previous experience is not a requirement, but is considered an advantage if you have a background in healthcare or work with children. You need to have good knowledge of Swedish. We place great emphasis on personal suitability and are looking for someone who has a genuine interest in creating security, continuity, and good relationships. The employment may offer the opportunity for fixed shifts later on, so we would appreciate it if you are interested in working long-term.
