Description

Do you want to be part of our continued work to develop efforts regarding intimate partner violence while simultaneously working in an authority capacity with the target group at the Adult Unit? Then this is the right position for you!

We are an Intimate Partner Violence Team striving for high-quality and developmental work regarding intimate partner violence. The Intimate Partner Violence Team at the Adult Unit includes social workers and counselors who work with victims of violence and perpetrators. We are now looking for a social worker who will work in an authority capacity and also contribute to method development regarding this target group.

You will belong to the Adult Unit, which also includes social workers working in an authority capacity regarding harmful substance use and addiction, and LSS case managers working in an authority capacity regarding psychiatry/disability. The Adult Unit also includes the treatment team from the Counseling Center, consisting of coordinators, counselors, and alcohol and drug therapists who work with harmful substance use and addiction, intimate partner violence, and relatives.

Responsibilities

As a social worker in the Intimate Partner Violence Team, you will work with qualified investigative work as well as follow-ups of decided measures regarding both victims of violence and perpetrators according to the Social Services Act. Your work is change-oriented, and you will play a key role in working together with the client to create conditions for change. There is close cooperation with counselors within the Intimate Partner Violence Team, and you will work closely together as social workers and counselors.

As a method developer, you will among other things work as a consultative support in the Sector of Social Welfare and be responsible for establishing and continuously following up on routines and processes. You will also be responsible for internal and external collaboration and be an important part of our continued development work regarding intimate partner violence in Lidköping.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a degree in social work or equivalent education with many years of experience and interest in working with this target group. You should have good knowledge regarding intimate partner violence and legislation according to the Social Services Act. Knowledge and experience of FREDA, SARA, and PATRIARK are meritorious. You must have the ability to work both individually and in a group. In addition, you have the ability to be flexible, are stress-resistant, and have good skills in verbal and written expression. We are looking for a person who is positive, energetic, and finds social work enjoyable. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Conditions

A B-driver's license is required.

Extract from the Criminal Record

Before an offer of employment is made, you as a candidate are required to present an extract from the criminal record when working in any of the following areas; school or preschool, work with children in activities other than school and childcare, work with children according to LSS, work at or in connection with residential homes for youth (HVB), work with the elderly or persons with disabilities. You order the extract via the Police's website. The extract must be presented before employment can begin.
