We work together to meet patients' needs for assessment, treatment, rehabilitation, and disease prevention. Here, you will meet a dedicated and competent team consisting of occupational therapists, physiotherapists, speech therapists, dietitians, social workers, psychologists, sexologists, rehabilitation coordinators, rehabilitation assistants, and administrative staff.

Responsibilities

As a psychologist here, you will have a meaningful and varied role with a focus on patients within cancer care. You will meet people at different stages of their illness and treatment, where you contribute with psychological assessment and treatment. Treatment is primarily individual, but also with relatives, and is based on both psychological and existential perspectives. The role also includes providing support to other patient groups with depression, anxiety, crisis reactions, and stress related to the illness situation.

The role also includes:

• Handling referrals
• Consultation and support to healthcare staff on psychological matters
• Method development
• Participation in patient and relative education

You will work both independently and in close collaboration with colleagues in the team.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed psychologist, preferably with experience working in cancer care or somatic healthcare.
