Welcome to the Evening and Night Unit in Växjö Municipality! Here you will work in a department where your skills are truly needed and valued. We offer independent and varied work where you meet patients in their homes throughout the municipality. You are there when the need is greatest, handling both acute situations and planned interventions.

The role involves significant personal responsibility, but you are never alone; you always have colleagues and a team behind you. The schedule is designed to provide both variety and time for recovery. Currently, full-time employees work roughly equally between evenings and nights. The service involves working approximately 15:30–23:00 on evenings and 21:00–07:00 on nights, with three weekends every ten weeks. We offer a reduced working time of 32 hours per week with full-time salary, and employment levels between 70 and 100 percent.

In the role of nurse with us, you work with qualified nursing care in the patient's home. Your days, or rather evenings and nights, consist of making medical assessments, both via phone and through home visits, as well as carrying out and following up on various care interventions.

You are responsible for medication management and delegations, and have an important coordinating role where you collaborate with colleagues, other professions, and relatives to create safe and secure care for each patient.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a registered nurse and feel confident in your professional role. You thrive working independently, have the ability to prioritize and make decisions, and meet people with a calm and professional demeanor.

A valid driver's license (Category B) is required for this position.
