We offer you

The Culture School has existed as a music school since 1949, which means it is one of the country's oldest music schools. Over 250 students are taught on various instruments, dance, drama, film, and creative workshop. In 2008, we moved from Music School to Culture School when we began offering drama and visual arts and crafts. Since then, we have expanded our operations with dance & film.

Our work team consists of 13 dedicated educators where the focus is on awakening joy and curiosity about creative expression. Here there is a good and helpful atmosphere where laughter is close at hand.

Job Description

We are now looking for a string teacher at 75% to the Culture School. As a string teacher, you are part of the Culture School's work team, which consists of both subject teachers and music teachers. Within the subject group, we co-plan our projects and share experiences. As we are a smaller unit, you sit alone on the throne over the string students. You also work with smaller ensembles and together with the other subject teachers, you work with the Culture School's orchestra activities.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have an adequate education as a string teacher or equivalent. You work in a structured manner, where the meeting with people requires both flexibility and sensitivity. You feel equally comfortable leading the children as taking your place on stage yourself. In our operations, we work a lot together in various projects, which means we place high demands on teamwork. We place great emphasis on personal suitability and see that you as an applicant have clear leadership skills.
