About Us

Clinical Physiology and Nuclear Medicine Sörmland is a county clinic with operations at the county's three hospitals. We provide diagnostics for hospital clinics, primary care, and private providers. We have a broad range of activities within general physiology, nuclear medicine, and neurophysiology. Our operations are based on good collaboration between our four units. Three medical secretaries work at the clinic in close cooperation with other staff categories.

Your Responsibilities

As a medical secretary with us, you will work county-wide with a variety of tasks including handling referrals, scheduling, TeleQ, preparation for rounds, scanning, handling governing documents, invoicing, etc. Our patient administrative system is Sectra RIS/PACS for referral handling, booking, answer handling, etc.

The work involves many internal and external contacts regarding patient and other administrative matters.

We do not use dictation, and it is important that you, as an applicant, find other tasks attractive and conducive to professional development.

Your Qualifications

You must have education in Health and Medical Administration (KY HSA) 80 credits or equivalent training as a medical secretary.

The job requires good knowledge of medical terminology, the Swedish language, and telephone etiquette. IT skills are meritorious. We are looking for someone who can maintain a holistic perspective but also has the ability to be meticulous and detail-oriented.

Working customer-focused with a high sense of service should be obvious to you. The job requires that you can work independently as well as in a group. You should be good at planning, organizing, and prioritizing your work in an effective manner.

We place great emphasis on personal qualities.

Employment Terms

Permanent position, full-time. Daytime work on weekdays. Start date by agreement.

The location is Mälarsjukhuset in Eskilstuna.
