About the Assignment

Novare is a proud and approved supplier within the Swedish government framework agreement. We are now looking for a Technical Facility Manager for a government agency in Stockholm.

As a Technical Facility Manager at the agency, you will be responsible for the long-term maintenance planning of parks and grounds, taking into account their economic and cultural-historical value. You will work in projects where you are responsible for budgeting, planning, procurement, as well as coordination and follow-up. The role also involves creating maintenance plans for parks and trees, as well as conducting risk tree assessments. Since several of the properties have cultural-historical values, a specific approach is required.

Some parts of the position may be security-classified, which means you may need to undergo background checks and security clearance.

Requirements for the Position

• Relevant education, e.g., Landscape Engineer or Landscape Architect, or equivalent work experience.
• At least three (3) years of experience in maintaining tree populations and handling risk trees.
• At least three (3) years of experience working as a project manager.
• At least three (3) years of experience in public procurement.
• At least three (3) years of experience with laws, regulations, and other requirements related to property ownership responsibilities and contract law.
• Valid driver's license (Category B).
• Good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with parks and grounds with cultural-historical value.
• Knowledge of park and grounds issues.

Assignment Period and Scope

The position is full-time for the period from August 15, 2024, to July 31, 2027, with the possibility of extension. The workplace is at the agency in Ulriksdal, Stockholm. Travel within the role is expected.
