About the Role

We are now looking for an engaged counselor based at our two schools in Gothenburg. Part of the assignment involves collaborating with other roles working with the unit's student health services, meeting with work groups or individual teachers for guidance and support in student cases. Other tasks include participating in the unit's student health meetings, supporting staff on-site with possible measures, and conducting investigations into students' challenges when necessary.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for you with previous experience as a school counselor. Your personality is characterized by good collaboration skills and flexibility. You have the ability to build good relationships with everyone you meet in your work. As a counselor, you give teachers and students a strong belief in their abilities to achieve individual, study-oriented goals together. You work for a learning and innovative climate and are careful to provide documented feedback. Engagement is an important keyword for you.

You have the following educational background:

• Social Work Degree (Social Work)
• Alternative University Background: A bachelor's degree in behavioral science, social pedagogy, or psychology that we assess as equivalent.
