About the workplace

The Outpatient Unit Family is part of the Child and Youth Section, which has a cohesive organization and overall responsibility for preventive work, investigations, and needs-assessed interventions for children, young people, and families. In total, approximately 240 employees work in the section.

The Outpatient Unit Family works with both needs-assessed interventions and interventions without prior needs assessment, and has the task of providing support and treatment to parents and their children, as well as to adult perpetrators and victims of violence. In line with the new Social Services Act, work is ongoing to develop the offer of treatment interventions provided without prior needs assessment.

Based on the nature of the tasks, the therapists at the unit are divided into four groups with different orientations. The unit has a pronounced child focus, which we want to permeate all the interventions we offer. In total, 21 therapists, 2 team leaders, and 1 unit manager work at the unit.

We are located in premises very close to Flemingsberg Centre, and it is easy to get here by public transport.

Job Responsibilities

The Outpatient Unit Family is now looking for a competent, engaged, and driven team leader who wants to contribute to the unit's work of offering high-quality interventions to children, young people, and families. You will be responsible for the "Family Treatment Group," which consists of 10 family therapists who work with family treatment interventions and network work within the framework of the social services' mission.

In your role as team leader, you will both lead the daily work and drive development work at the unit on behalf of the unit manager. The team leader is also an important part of both the therapists' professional development and well-being at the workplace.

A large part of the role involves collaborating and cooperating both internally and externally, which is why high demands are placed on you as an applicant to be a secure and cooperation-oriented person who finds it easy to create good and trusting relationships.

In order to respond as far as possible to the needs of the families we meet, continuous operational development is ongoing at the unit. It is therefore important that you are comfortable being in and driving change processes.

The role also includes administrative tasks such as creating routines and processes, producing and following statistics, and participating in and analyzing results from systematic follow-ups of interventions. The team leader is also responsible for ensuring legal certainty and the treatment process in cases ongoing at the unit and is an important part of the daily support for family therapists.

Qualifications

• Social work degree, or another equivalent higher education qualification assessed by the employer as equivalent
• At least 5 years of experience in family treatment
• Very good knowledge of treatment processes in families
• Very good ability to build good relationships
• Very good ability to express yourself both verbally and in writing

Meritorious Competencies

• Basic psychotherapy training (formerly Step 1) or equivalent documented knowledge
• Good knowledge of network work
• Experience in leadership positions
• Leadership training
