DHL Freight is now looking for more employees for its Parcel Locker team at the headquarters in Solna. The team is responsible for the development and operation of DHL Freight's parcel locker network in Sweden and works with the entire chain – from establishment and deployment to follow-up, operation, and further development of the network.

Responsibilities

As a Parcel Locker Network Developer, you work operationally to identify and establish new locations for DHL's parcel lockers around Sweden. The role combines proactive contact with administrative coordination related to establishment. The work involves prospecting and contact work where you, with the help of e-commerce data and mapping, analyze geographical areas, identify relevant partners, and drive dialogues with, for example, property owners, shops, and housing associations. As the network grows, there is an opportunity to gradually take on more responsibility in coordination and operation-related issues, as well as contribute to the development of working methods and processes in daily work.

Examples of tasks:

  • Identify and evaluate suitable locations for new parcel lockers.
  • Contact and collaborate with municipalities, property owners, and retail actors.
  • Drive dialogues and follow up on potential establishments via phone and email.
  • Handle administrative work related to the establishment of parcel lockers, such as documentation, contracts, and applications for building permits and police permits.

Education, Experience, and Personal Qualities

  • High school education.
  • Previous work experience from a supporting role, for example, within customer service or sales.
  • Experience from the logistics or transport industry is an advantage.
  • Good knowledge of the Office package.
  • Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish.

To thrive in the role, you need to have a natural sense of order and work systematically. You plan and prioritize your work in a methodical way and adapt when conditions change. The role involves many contact surfaces, which means you need to be communicative and enjoy collaborating with different types of people. You have a practical approach, like creating structure, and are motivated by contributing to improvements in working methods and processes over time.
