Personal Assistants Wanted for an 18-Year-Old Woman in Kungälv (At Least 2 Positions)

We are looking for at least three personal assistants for an 18-year-old woman in Kungälv with extensive and long-term support needs.

The role involves providing daily support while creating safety, structure, and predictability. The position requires a calm, respectful, and professional approach, as well as the ability to adapt support based on the user's needs and daily condition.

The user has the diagnoses of autism, severe intellectual disability, epilepsy, blindness in both eyes, and a moderate depressive episode.

The position can be both mentally and physically demanding. We are therefore looking for someone who is stable, patient, and confident in their work approach.

Job Responsibilities

The responsibilities may include, among other things:

• Personal hygiene
• Dressing and undressing
• Support during meals/feeding
• Accompaniment to doctors and other healthcare contacts
• Support in creating structure, safety, and predictability in daily life

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

• Good ability to work calmly and systematically
• Ability to communicate clearly and simply (short phrases and calm demeanor)
• Understanding of individuals with extensive disabilities and the need for individually adapted support
• Ability to notice early signs of stress/anxiety and act preventively
• Good teamwork skills and a professional attitude

Preferred Qualifications

It is an advantage if you have:

• Experience in personal assistance, care, or working with individuals with special needs
• Knowledge of autism and intellectual disability
• Experience interacting with individuals with sensory sensitivity
• Experience with low-affective interaction
• Proficiency in Swedish and Ukrainian
