We are looking for you who want to work as a Personal Assistant during the day this summer!

Our wonderful child client, Vilgot (8 years old), is looking for someone who can primarily work during the day this summer. There are also opportunities for afternoon, evening, and weekend shifts if you wish.

As Vilgot's assistant, you will join him on various fun activities. He is an active boy who enjoys playing and running in his wheelchair. Vilgot lives with his family and pets in a villa in Bergsjö.

Who are you?

You should be playful, social, flexible, and responsible. Experience working with children is desirable but not a requirement. The job also involves lifting and transferring. To get to the workplace, you must have a driver's license and access to a car, as there is no public transport to the area. Since there are fur-bearing animals in the home, you should not be allergic to animals.

Job Responsibilities:

Vilgot has dyskinetic CP and epilepsy, requiring assistance with all daily activities. He is non-verbal and uses an eye-tracking computer to communicate. Through his clear body language, he becomes easy to understand once you get to know him. As an assistant, you will gain experience with AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) and PEG (Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy).
