About the School

Vittra Telefonplan is a preschool to grade 9 (F-9) school with approximately 160 students, located in Hägersten. The school is easily accessible near the Telefonplan metro station, and the surrounding area is pleasant and quiet.

At Vittra Telefonplan, we have a high proportion of certified and qualified teachers. We are organized into work teams and collaborate on students' knowledge, well-being, and safety. We meet on joint days scheduled throughout the academic year for analysis and planning. We have an experienced student health team and have organized special teaching groups. A safety team supports our values-based work. We collaborate collegially with other Vittra schools and the neighboring Snitz Primary School, with whom we share the schoolyard and subject-specific classrooms. The school has functional and bright teaching spaces, including a fully equipped science lab and a Makerspace for technology education.

We are looking for

We are now looking for you who are an experienced school counselor and wish to contribute to and develop within Vittra Telefonplan's ongoing work. You are a trained social worker and are well familiar with the role of a counselor in a primary school. You have a knack for building trusting relationships and fostering effective collaboration with students, guardians, and colleagues, and you understand the importance of good communication. You view documentation and assessment of students' well-being as a natural part of your work. You possess strong analytical skills and are constantly developing your practice. You should be flexible and capable of independently prioritizing and organizing your tasks, driven by the desire to achieve good results. Personal suitability is of great importance to us.

About the Position

You will join the Student Health Team, where you will play a key role in developing the business forward. Based on your professional role, you will contribute to the interdisciplinary work of the student health services in accordance with the school's mission and conditions, where your expertise will contribute to qualitative analyses of the needs of individuals and groups. You will be a key figure in the school's preventive and health-promoting work. Your focus will be on school attendance and students' mental and social health. You will also help develop the initiatives of the Safety Team.

The position is a vacation coverage role at 50%. Days of the week are open for discussion, but we prefer Wednesday and Thursday to be included. The position is a permanent employment with a start date of August 11th or as agreed. We apply a 6-month probation period.
