We are looking for you who wants to work as a Personal Assistant during the day this summer!

Our wonderful child client, Vilgot, 8 years old, is looking for someone who can primarily work during the day this summer. There are also opportunities for afternoon, evening, and weekend shifts if you wish to work more.

As Vilgot's assistant, you will join him on various fun activities. He is an active boy who enjoys playing and running in his walker. Vilgot lives with his family and pets in a villa in Bergsjö.

Who are you?

You should be playful, social, flexible, and responsible. Previous experience with children is desirable but not a requirement. The role also involves lifting and moving. To get to the workplace, you must have a driver's license and access to a car, as there is no public transport to the area. Since there are furry animals in the home, you should not be allergic to animals.

Job Responsibilities:

Vilgot has dyskinetic CP and epilepsy, requiring assistance with all daily activities. He does not speak and uses an eye-controlled computer to communicate. Through clear body language, he makes himself well understood once you get to know him. As an assistant, you will gain experience with AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) and PEG feeding.

We will require a copy of a passport (SE) or residence permit (EU) or residence and work permit/LMA card (non-EU).

According to the Act on Register Checks, anyone working with minors must present an extract from the police's criminal and suspicion register before employment. You order the register extract yourself. According to God Assistans' policy, we require a criminal record extract for work in HVB homes as it provides more information than LSS checks.
