About the job:

Asphagen Preschool has been operated by the Tengene Parent Cooperative Economic Association since 2000. Our facility is located just outside the town of Grästorp, surrounded by nature. The preschool has two departments; The Squirrels (ages 1–3) and The Foxes (ages 3–6), with a total of 30–36 children. The team consists of six educators and a cook. The preschool has a nature and environment profile with plenty of outdoor time for the children. Great importance is placed on homemade, organic, and locally produced food.

The preschool is built on community and participation among staff, children, and parents. Our goal is to have highly competent staff with close proximity to the employer and decision-making processes. At Asphagen, we have a well-functioning team, an engaged board, and good cooperation between the operation and the principal. Here, you will have the opportunity to develop the preschool together with your colleagues.

Qualifications:

We are looking for you who are trained as a preschool teacher. You are familiar with the preschool's mission and the content of the curriculum, and you have drive and commitment in your work. You find it easy to collaborate and build good relationships with children, colleagues, and parents.

We also see that you are flexible, positive, and solution-oriented in the operation and work team, and contribute with a responsible and development-oriented approach.

We place great importance on personal suitability.

Other:

According to law (2000:873), all individuals to be employed and working with children and young people in our operation must provide an extract from the Police Authority's criminal record.

Employment terms:

Employment type: Probationary period of 6 months, converting to a permanent position upon agreement.

Scope of employment: Full-time

Start date: July 27th or by agreement
