Osby Health Centre is located in the north-eastern part of Scania, with good commuting opportunities. Osby is situated in a beautiful natural area with many opportunities for outdoor activities. We have approximately 6,500 registered patients, and our goal is to provide security, accessibility, high-quality care, and continuity for our patients.

In the same building as the health centre is the Family Centre with an open preschool. We run the Family Centre together with Osby Municipality, where the municipality is responsible for the open preschool and social counseling, while the health centre is responsible for child health services. This approach allows us to support the child and family at the appropriate level based on their living conditions. There is also a nursing home in the same building, where we largely provide medical support. The collaboration with the municipality's home care and elderly care is highly functional, characterized by short decision-making paths and mutual personal familiarity.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As one of our colleagues is going on study leave, we are looking for a Medical Secretary for a one-year temporary position. Welcome to our competent team!

You and your medical secretary colleagues share responsibility for daily and ongoing tasks as well as other administrative duties. Your colleagues have diverse backgrounds and experience, but the common denominator among us is joy in work and collaboration. We are open to improvements and dare to try new things and think differently.

At the health centre, we use the systems PMO, Pasis, and MedSpeech. The medical secretaries coordinate, plan, monitor, dictate, cover the reception, and register diagnoses. We help each other and distribute the work according to the needs of the business and different competencies. As a medical secretary with us, you will also work closely with other professional categories.

QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you if you have education in health care administration, 80 points in Higher Education (KY) or 400 points in University College (YH), or equivalent medical secretary training. You also have good language skills in Swedish, both spoken and written, as well as good knowledge of medical terminology. It is an advantage if you have work experience within primary care in Region Scania.

Changes often occur in our daily work, so it is crucial that you can adapt to these, prioritize between different tasks, and adjust your working methods when the pace varies. In addition, you have a strong interest in development, learning, and administration.
