RESPONSIBILITIES

Together, the team at Kvarnliden provides excellent care, security, and joy to our residents. Kvarnliden is a specialized housing facility focused on dementia care, located in Munka-Ljungby.

As a nursing assistant with us, no two days are alike! With an individual-centered approach, we adapt our efforts to the residents' daily condition and utilize their abilities. The work involves qualified care and nursing interventions based on the residents' needs. An important part of the role is to contribute to a meaningful life through social meetings, activities, and outdoor excursions.

We actively work with individual implementation plans as the starting point for work planning, and every employee takes significant responsibility for the operation and development of the facility. As a nursing assistant, you work closely with the resident and play a key role in the team alongside colleagues, unit manager, nurse, occupational therapist, and physiotherapist.

We collaborate with other specialized housing facilities within Ängelholm Municipality, and as needed, you will also have work shifts at these facilities.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are trained as a nursing assistant, preferably with specialized training in geriatrics, palliative care, or cognitive impairment. Previous work experience involving responsibility for contact person duties, social documentation, and delegated healthcare tasks is seen as valuable.

You are confident and comfortable using digital technology, as we increasingly use digital tools to facilitate and improve operations. Communication is an important part of the job, and you must be able to communicate in Swedish both verbally and in writing. Knowledge of additional languages is considered a positive asset.

You are a sharp team player who collaborates, takes responsibility, and sees the big picture. We are constantly working to develop the operations, and if you have experience in improvement or development work, we see this as an advantage. Prior to an employment offer, we will request an extract from the Police Authority's criminal record. You will also need to provide your professional certificate prior to employment.
