We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an Operational Buyer for a technically advanced operation in Linköping. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring material and service deliveries to customer projects and production, while also contributing to the development of purchasing processes and working methods. As an Operational Buyer, you will become part of a cohesive team responsible for purchases related to both ongoing delivery projects and development projects. You will work broadly with the operational purchasing flow and have a central role in ensuring that the right materials, services, and components are in place at the right time, with the right quality, and according to plan.

Your responsibilities will include handling RFIs and RFQs, orders, order acknowledgments, delivery monitoring, invoices, returns, and complaints. You will also work with purchasing data in ERP systems, monitor supplier KPIs, and coordinate with internal functions such as material planning, tactical purchasing, and strategic purchasing. The role also involves supporting analyses and comparisons of suppliers, as well as contributing to the improvement of processes, tools, and flows within the purchasing area.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience in operational or tactical purchasing
• Has relevant post-secondary education or equivalent knowledge acquired through work experience
• Is proficient in working with ERP systems
• Has good knowledge of MS Office
• Has a good understanding of purchasing, delivery flows, and the supply chain
• Fluently speaks and writes Swedish and English

The following qualifications are a plus:

• Experience in purchasing within a technically complex or manufacturing environment
• Experience with purchasing both standard components and customer-specific products or solutions
• Experience in supplier monitoring, supplier development, or supplier analysis
• Experience working with forecasts in collaboration with material planning or strategic purchasing

Additional Information:

This position requires you to undergo and pass the security clearance checks applicable at the time. For positions where our client has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail citizenship requirements.

This is a consulting assignment, meaning you will be employed by Friday and work on-site at the client's premises.
