We are looking for a Strategic Buyer for a high-tech company focusing on unmanned helicopter systems. In this central role, you will ensure delivery capability, quality, and long-term supplier capacity in a technically advanced and international environment.

You will become part of the purchasing organization and be responsible for a segment related to complex technical systems and components. The role combines strategic and operational purchasing work with close collaboration across various parts of the business.

Among other things, you will:

• Be responsible for purchasing complex technical systems and components
• Build and develop long-term relationships with strategic suppliers
• Lead procurement processes and conduct contract negotiations
• Ensure delivery capability and capacity based on forecasts and production needs
• Develop and implement purchasing and supplier strategies
• Work on cost optimization and value-creating initiatives
• Analyze the supplier market and develop new supplier collaborations
• Monitor supplier quality, cost, and delivery precision
• Identify and manage supplier and supply risks
• Collaborate closely with development, production, project management, and quality assurance

• Ensure stable and cost-effective supply within your responsible segment
• Develop and implement sustainable supplier strategies
• Contribute to improved delivery precision and supplier performance
• Drive successful procurement processes and contract negotiations
• Identify risks and create action plans for supply security

• Relevant higher vocational education (YH) or university degree in purchasing or a related field
• At least 1 year of experience in purchasing, operational purchasing, or logistics
• Experience with ERP systems
• Very good knowledge of English, both spoken and written

• Experience from the aviation industry
• Experience from the defense industry
• Experience in purchasing technical systems, components, or production-related operations
