The Role of Tactical Buyer

In the role of Tactical Buyer, you work to ensure a well-functioning order flow and high delivery precision. You become an important part of the purchasing function where you are responsible for order management and follow-up, contributing to stability and quality in the supply chain.

The role involves close collaboration with both internal functions and external suppliers. You will have a varied daily routine where your ability to create structure, prioritize, and handle deviations is crucial for success.

Examples of responsibilities:

• Work with order management in business systems
• Conduct and follow up on delivery monitoring
• Ensure deliveries take place as planned and handle deviations
• Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers as needed

Who are you?

We are looking for you who have substantial experience in purchasing and are confident in taking responsibility for order flows and deliveries. You thrive in a fast-paced role where you get to work both operationally and solution-oriented.

You are structured, detail-oriented, and communicative, with the ability to work independently while collaborating well with others.

• Have several years of experience in purchasing within relevant areas
• Have experience with order management in business systems
• Have a good understanding of purchasing processes
• Thrive in a role with varied tasks and sometimes high tempo

This is a consulting assignment located with our client in Linköping. The assignment is planned to start in September and run through August 2027.
