Description

We are looking for a housing support worker for social psychiatry, with primary employment in Housing Support. The role also involves collaboration, joint planning, and work at Fjälla Psychiatric Residence, where we work in a motivational and supportive manner with individuals who have decisions for housing with special support according to the Social Services Act (SoL). Social psychiatry is located in Lyse, just outside Lysekil. We provide individual support in daily life for people with various cognitive and social disabilities. We create conditions, enhance quality of life, and provide tools for our users to achieve an independent life.

Requirements: Experience working within social psychiatry and preferably within the housing support service.

Job Responsibilities

Your work as a housing support worker includes:

• Planning and implementing interventions based on individual implementation plans.
• Social skills training for and with the users.
• Assessment and follow-up in IBIC.
• Documentation according to SoL and HSL (Health and Medical Services Act).
• Participation in daily care work.
• Collaboration with relatives, guardians, nurses, rehabilitation staff, needs assessors, and other actors in the field.
• Collaboration with colleagues at the workplace, such as housing support pedagogues, activity pedagogues, and the unit manager.
• Seeking new knowledge within the field.

Qualifications

You should have education from the Nursing Programme with a focus on disabilities, the Child and Youth Programme with a focus on social work or pedagogical work, or other education deemed equivalent by the employer.

Experience working within social psychiatry, particularly in housing support, is considered a positive asset.

As a person, you are calm and secure, with the ability to build trust with others. You should have a strong commitment, be flexible, and have a genuine interest in the target group. You work in a structured manner, have good planning skills, are open to ideas, and can realize them together with your work group. You express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing, have experience with documentation, and have experience with medication management. Experience working with and from Low-Affective Handling, ESL (Emotional Support and Leadership), and MI (Motivational Interviewing) is a plus.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability and experience. A B-class driver's license is required.

Conditions

Working hours are mostly during the day and evening, with weekend duties every other weekend. Depending on the joint planning area, this may also involve on-call duties with overnight stays at the Fjälla Psychiatric Residence.
