About the Position

I am now looking for more personal assistants to join my team! I am a nine-year-old girl living in a house in Torslanda with my mom, dad, little sister, and our dog, Gustaf. Due to my diagnosis, Krabbe disease, I have a significant need for help and support in my daily life.

As my personal assistant, you will help me with everything related to my daily life and lifestyle. You will also handle my gastrostomy (PEG) and sputum suction. Since I do not have speech or large emotional expressions, it is important that you are attentive, present, and secure in your role so that you can see and hear how I am doing.

I do not go to school, so much of my daily life takes place at home. I enjoy books, singing, and foot baths. When the weather is warm and nice, I like to be outside, but cold and rain are not really my thing.

Working Hours and Scope

We are now looking for you who want to work on a fixed schedule during daytime. The position is approximately 60–90 %, and the shifts are scheduled from 08:00–15:00 or 08:00–16:00.

We are flexible regarding the schedule and would like to find a solution that works well for both you and the family. Therefore, for the right person, there is an opportunity to adjust the scope and setup of the position to some extent.

The client has assistance around the clock. Double assistance occurs during parts of the day.

Who We Are Looking For

• You are secure, responsible, and have a calm demeanor.
• You are attentive and can work closely with the client throughout the entire shift.
• You have experience in practical care.
• You have previous experience with sputum suction, PEG, or similar aids (meritorious).
• You have experience working in care or similar fields (required).
• You have good teamwork skills, are flexible, and can adapt to different situations and needs.

We prefer female applicants. A driver's license is meritorious but not required as there are good bus connections to the home.

Other Information

In accordance with God Assistans' policy, all employees must present an extract from the criminal record register before employment. The extract is ordered by you via the Police website. According to the Register Control Act, you must also present an extract from the police's criminal record register (Extract for work with children with disabilities) if you are to work with minors.

Documents proving the right to work in Sweden must be presented at any interview:

• A Swedish citizen is verified, for example, with a passport or personal certificate from the Swedish Tax Agency.
• EU/EEA citizens also have the right to work in Sweden. Citizenship is verified, for example, with a passport or residence permit.
• Third-country nationals (outside the EU/EEA) verify their right to work in Sweden with a decision from the Migration Agency, UT card (front and back) or an LMA card.

As employers, we are not allowed to ask for documents proving the right to work in Sweden to be emailed to us.
