Personal assistance is a service under the LSS (Act on Support and Service for Certain Functionally Disabled). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to people who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Every client is unique, and your tasks will vary based on the client's needs. You value the client's self-determination and privacy, and contribute to making daily life run smoothly.

About the role

The role of personal assistant requires a good ability to build safe relationships, as the job involves providing support in daily life with all that entails. Our client is a young woman who enjoys various activities, such as a day trip to Liseberg or a stay by the sea. Therefore, we are looking for you who enjoy active assistance, both indoors and outdoors, and who are creative in finding adapted activities. In the job, it is of great importance that you are attentive and responsive to the signals our client gives you.

We are now looking for you who fit the following:

• Want to work with a teenage girl living in Skärhamn
• Have very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Have a B driver's license and access to a car to get to and from work. If you live near Skärhamn, this is not a requirement

It is also meritorious if you:

• Have experience working in healthcare and social care
• Have experience working with children and young people
• Have experience with mobility impairments
• Have experience with epilepsy
• Have experience with alternative communication

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment degree, and salary:

2 positions. The current form of employment is "Fixed-term contract" with an employment degree of up to 100% in weeks 24-29, and "Summer fixed-term contract" in weeks 24-33 with an employment degree of approx. 58%. You specify in your application which of the positions you are interested in. Working hours vary between 07:00-17:00, 09:00-21:00, and 21:00-07:00 (active/awake night).

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other benefits occur according to collective agreement.

Start date: According to agreement.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you as an applicant can present a valid ID document and any documents proving the right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.

According to legislation, we as employers are required to request a certificate of good conduct from all employees who are to work as personal assistants for a child under 18 years. Therefore, you need to present a certificate from the police's criminal record and suspicion register before any potential employment. Further information will be provided if you proceed in the recruitment process.
