ABOUT THE POSITION

Vi Omsorg is looking for you who wants to work as a personal assistant for our client in Lima. We are looking for someone who wants to work approx. 30 hours per week, and the working hours are scheduled during day and evening times. On some days during school weeks, split shifts also occur. Start date is by agreement, and we would appreciate it if you could start the introduction as soon as possible.

ABOUT THE CLIENT

The client is a lovely girl in her early teens who lives with her parents, older siblings, and their two cats. She has cerebral palsy and uses an electric wheelchair for mobility, as well as a lift to facilitate transfers.

Here we have a girl who wants to live an active and social life. Just like many other girls her age, she likes makeup, horses, crafts, and bathing. As an assistant here, you will be a support in what she wants to do after school – whether it is an activity, a moment of rest, or something creative. You are there as a support during transfers, meals, hygiene, and everything that belongs to daily life. Here you get the opportunity to build a close and meaningful relationship, and truly make a difference in a young person's life.

We are looking for someone who is secure, sensitive, and has a genuine interest in working with children and young people. You need to be empathetic and adaptable, with the ability to read situations and adjust to the individual's needs and daily condition. It is important that you have a respectful and friendly manner, and that you can build a good relationship where the client feels both independent and safe.

REQUIREMENTS

• Category B driver's license
• Not allergic to fur animals

Employment level: Scheduled hours of approx. 30 hours per week plus hourly vacancies.

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other benefits in accordance with the collective agreement.

If you want to work with children and young people under 18, you need to present an extract from the criminal record register. It is important that the extracts are ordered in good time, as the Police's processing time may vary. Due to a legal change from March 1, 2026, the register check is expanded to include both extracts from the criminal record register and extracts from the suspicion register.
