RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Child and Youth Investigator, you have official authority responsibilities according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Law on Care of Young Persons (LVU). You work with investigations based on incoming reports of concern or applications from guardians or young people. The duties include follow-up for children and young people in open interventions, working in close collaboration with the child, the family, and their private networks, as well as with the professional network surrounding the child.

We strive to provide families with support at an early stage and as much as possible locally. To succeed with this, we collaborate with others both within and outside the municipality. We work according to BBiC and Signs of Safety, with the child and their network in focus. We offer all our social secretaries training in Signs of Safety.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who:

• has a degree in Social Work (Socialsekreterare/Socionom)
• is well acquainted with the Social Services Act
• is engaged and has several years of experience from exercising official authority regarding various areas of social services, specifically concerning children and young people
• has the ability to work independently and flexibly with good collaborative skills
• has the ability for innovative thinking in development work. You have a reflective and analytical approach as well as a holistic perspective
• has the ability to create participation for the child/young person and their family
• can express yourself well in speech and writing.

It is meritorious if you:

• have experience documenting in Life Care.
• have experience working according to BBIC.
• have experience working with Signs of Safety.

Great importance is placed on personal suitability.

Category B driver's license is required.
