As an employee here, you will become an important part of a dedicated collegium where we together create meaningful teaching and prerequisites for lifelong learning. You will find Viskastrand in central Borås, close to the Textile Museum and the University. We also offer education in Viared's business park.

The position includes teaching in subjects within the Electricity and Energy Programme, with a focus on automation and energy technology, as well as other common tasks within the teaching role. You will work closely with the industry to give the student the best possible conditions for their future career.

The assignment includes mentorship, which means you participate in student welfare work, contact parents, and conduct development conferences. As a teacher at Viskastrand Upper Secondary School, you create conditions for learning, guide the student towards the goals, and participate in the student's upbringing into a good citizen. You continuously work on assessing goal fulfillment and communicating this to the student.

We are looking for you who have:

• Professional experience in automation, control and regulation technology, electricity/energy, or a related field.
• Good knowledge in one or both of the following areas: automation technology, electrical/energy technology.
• Ability to combine practical work with pedagogical leadership.
• Good collaboration skills and a desire to develop the education together with colleagues and the industry.

It is meritorious if you have:

• Teacher certification or teaching experience.
• Experience from industrial or automation operations.
• Knowledge in CAD, measurement and control technology, or maintenance.
• Experience in troubleshooting, commissioning, or programming of automation systems.
• Contacts within the industry and interest in collaboration with working life.
