The Social Services Department is responsible for individual and family care, elderly care, and care for people with disabilities. We work preventively with support, interventions, and authority enforcement for children, young people, families, adults, the elderly, and people with disabilities.

Our mission is to increase individuals' conditions for living under as good living conditions as possible and to strengthen individuals to live an independent life. We are a social service that is at the forefront of preventive work and in the transition work towards an even more accessible and knowledge-based social service.

Temporary position September 2026 – March 2027, part-time 60%. Four-week schedule with work every other weekend, night shifts included.

Unit Description
The unit is located in Skogås, close to the commuter train station and bus stop. Six people with varying disabilities live in the group home. We work based on the user's need for individual support in everyday situations, with the individual at the center, and are careful to quality-assure the interventions we provide so that users can live as independent and good a life as possible.

About the Work
We offer users individually adapted support in their daily lives, which can include supporting the user in care, household chores, and support in social interaction. The work with the users is guided by their individual conditions and associated method sheets. We cooperate closely with the network based on the individual's wishes and own goals.

We work with great respect for the user's integrity and see the user as an active actor in the design of the support. The work is planned, documented, and followed up carefully. As a support assistant, it is therefore very important that you document well.

As a support assistant, you will be part of a context where high demands are placed on cooperation and responsibility. You should create and maintain good relationships with users, relatives, guardians, day activities, the HSL unit, and other actors.

Your Profile
We are looking for you who have education in the field, such as assistant nurse education, GPU/PPU, or equivalent education. Experience working with people with autism and people with disabilities, as well as experience working with clarifying pedagogy and digitalization, is a plus. You should be computer literate as we document in the Life Care documentation system, and you must have very good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing.
