Do you want to work in a meaningful role where you can contribute to the health, development, and security of children and young people? We are now looking for an engaged social secretary to launch our School Social Team! Together with a 100% employee from the Education Administration, you will work to ensure that more children and young people succeed in school and feel well.

Job Responsibilities
The School Social Team's mission is to work early, preventively, and proactively to increase school attendance and strengthen students' mental and social well-being. As a team member, you work in a cross-professional manner and in close collaboration with children and young people, guardians, school staff, student health services, and other professions within social services. Collaboration with other actors is a central part of the work, based on the student's specific needs.
The assignment will be at both strategic and operational levels with a focus on sustainable solutions for the child.
The joint work of the School Social Team includes, among other things:
- Preventing and reducing school absenteeism through early and coordinated interventions at the organizational/individual level.
- Contributing a systemic perspective and a good understanding of the life situation of children and young people.
- Planning, implementing, leading, following up, concluding, and evaluating interventions.
- Providing support to children and young people and their guardians, which includes motivational work, family conversations, and coordination of interventions from social services and other relevant actors.
- Mentoring school staff and contributing to competence-enhancing measures.
- Planning and conducting training and information campaigns for guardians and staff.
- Participating in building and further developing the School Social Team's working methods, structures, and routines.
A steering group is linked to the School Social Team, which has the overall responsibility for leading the process. The steering group consists of the business manager for central student health services and the unit manager from the social administration. You will be offered external supervision.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Social Work Degree (Social Worker)
- Category B driver's license
- Experience in social change and motivational work with children and young people and/or their families
Meritorious:
- Experience working or collaborating between schools and social services
As a social secretary in this position, you have a genuine interest in children and young people and a strong belief that everyone can succeed if given good opportunities. You are skilled at adapting your perspective and seeing possibilities. You are a team player who enjoys working in a team and contributing to joint development but can also work independently. You are responsible, structured, and systematic in both daily work and documentation.
As a person, you have the ability and willingness to build relationships and are confident in conducting various types of conversations with students and guardians. You are also confident in mentoring and collaborating with school staff, guardians, and others.
Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
Employment Conditions
- Salary: Monthly salary.
- Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
- Duration: 6 months or longer.
- Working hours: Daytime.
