Are you a licensed occupational therapist with a few years of experience looking for new challenges?

As an occupational therapist, you will work in a multidisciplinary team alongside our nurses, assistant nurses, physiotherapists, and spa staff. This is a natural and integral part of the role. About Häggenäs Nursing Home

Häggenäs Nursing Home is a family-owned elderly care facility located in the scenic Ludvigsborg in the heart of Skåne. Since 1964, we have provided person-centered care with a focus on quality of life, activity, and meaningful daily life for individuals with cognitive illness, somatic complaints, and mental disabilities. Here, you work in an engaged multidisciplinary team where every employee contributes to creating security, participation, and well-being for our residents. Our facility also offers unique environments for rehabilitation and activity, including a training room, spa, and sensory-stimulating environments.

About the Position

As an occupational therapist with us, you will:

• Plan and implement individualized rehabilitation interventions.
• Assess patients' functional and activity capabilities.
• Adapt and evaluate assistive devices and provide support in daily activities.
• Fit and prescribe assistive devices such as lifts, wheelchairs, and hygiene aids.
• Collaborate with other professions in our team, outpatient/inpatient care, and municipalities.
• Work to strengthen our patients' independence and quality of life.
• Educate care staff in ergonomics and transfer techniques.
• Perform assessments such as ADL (Activities of Daily Living) and MMT (Manual Muscle Testing).
• Be part of our activity groups.
• We work in the electronic health record system EPSILON.

QUALIFICATIONS

• We are looking for you who are a licensed occupational therapist.
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
• You are solution-focused, empathetic, and have the ability to build trusting relationships.
• You have good collaboration skills and thrive working in a multidisciplinary team, but also have the ability to work independently with responsibility.
• Experience in elderly care or similar operations is meritorious.
• We place great emphasis on personal qualities.

Other Information:

The position is 80% full-time.
