Specialist Psychiatry for Children, Young People and Adults provides knowledge-based and specialized psychiatric care in collaboration with the patient, relatives, and other healthcare providers within and outside Region Kronoberg. The operations are organized into different units where staff work based on integrated teams, outpatient care, and inpatient care, following the patient throughout the entire care chain. Our mission is to provide specialist psychiatry for patients with serious mental illness, complex problems, and often comorbidity. We want to create good conditions for our patients to receive effective treatment with the best possible competence, leading to improvements for the patient.

The units for children and young people are aimed at children and adolescents under 18 years of age and have clinics in Ljungby and Växjö, as well as an emergency service in Växjö.

We are now looking for a psychologist who wants to be involved in developing Region Kronoberg's child psychiatry forward. Are you our next colleague?

Job Responsibilities

At our clinic, we work in interdisciplinary teams, and you will be responsible, together with other professions, for assessment, treatment, and investigation. The job responsibilities also include network work together with preschools, schools, social services, and healthcare partners.

The current position involves our toddler teams, consultation and assessment teams for toddlers, resource teams, and DBT teams. Job responsibilities will initially be distributed largely within the resource team. If needed, we help each other across team boundaries, and you are therefore also expected to be able to work within the other child and adolescent units.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed psychologist. Further education in treatment work, experience in child and adolescent psychiatric work, or work with the target group and families is meritorious. You should be interested in having varied job responsibilities and enjoy working in an interdisciplinary team. Great importance is placed on personal suitability and teamwork skills.
